(makes 4 servings)
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey or chicken
- 2 poblano peppers, seeded and chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 jar salsa verde
Instructions:
- In a large nonstick skillet, cook turkey or chicken until cooked through.
- To the skillet, add poblanos and garlic. Stir frequently and cook until peppers are tender (about 4 minutes). Stir in chili powder, salsa, and ½ cup of water. Stir well to combine.
- Bring the chili to a low boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer. Allow to simmer for 10-15 minutes before serving.
