Roasted Cabbage Steaks

Roasted Cabbage Steaks

(makes approximately 4-6 servings)

  • 1 head of cabbage

  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • any additional seasonings of your choice

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a large cooking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Begin by cutting the stems off the head of cabbage and then continue to cut until you have 4-6 thick cabbage slices that are about 1-inch thick.

  3. Place the cabbage slices on the prepared cooking sheet, brush each with olive oil, and sprinkle with seasonings. Flip the cabbage steaks and repeat on the other side.

  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the leaves are brown and the centers are tender. Enjoy!
