CHICKPEAS! Now, before you shake your head in disbelief, chickpeas have taken the world by storm recently. Any stroll around the grocery store reveals tons of new surprises like edible brownie batter, pumpkin / chocolate hummus and so many others all derived from this simple little ingredient.

CHICKPEA COOKIE DOUGH
Ingredients: Here’s What You Need

1.5 C. Chickpeas, drained and rinsed

¼ C. Almond butter or peanut butter

1 t. Vanilla

3 T. Oat flour (can blend regular oats in blender to make oat flour)

2 T. Honey or maple syrup

¼ C. Mini chocolate chips

½ t. Salt
Recipe: Follow These Steps

Mix all ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a high speed blender.

Blend until a thick dough forms.

Pour into a large bowl and mix in chocolate chips.

Refrigerate for a few hours and enjoy!
