SHELLEY’S STORY OF HEALTH GLORY!

>
“Becoming part of the Results Fitness family was the best thing I did for myself!”

— RF Warrior Shelley

Before getting into the fun details surrounding my road to Results Fitness, I want to start my “Warrior Story” backwards to paint a clear picture of everything RF means to me.

I spend winters in Florida and after joining Results Fitness in May, 2019, headed south that November. After a 3 week hiatus, I briefly returned to Cleveland to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family and of course, squeeze in a few workouts with my RF family. Upon arrival, I received the best welcome home embrace from my fellow Warriors and coaches! This experience solidified that becoming part of the Results Fitness family was the best thing I did for myself.

How it all started: It all began when I walked into Results Fitness after a strong recommendation from a devoted fellow RF Warrior + friend, Abby. I was greeted warmly before meeting with Coach Matt for my free Strategy Session. His enthusiasm made it easy to sign on the dotted line and begin my journey.

Unfortunately, I lost my husband to lung cancer in 2018 and, in addition to my amazing family, I knew surrounding myself with other loving, caring people would help with the healing process. Full disclosure, I had no idea what to expect walking into Results Fitness. Though I’ve always been active and enjoyed participating in health related activities, I was having a hard time finding a place that could meet my “aging” needs and make me feel good about myself again. I also needed a good “butt” kicking! HENCE….Results Fitness!

Since beginning my journey, I’ve experienced lots of ups and downs both physically and emotionally. Coaches Matt, Josh and Jenna have taken great care to meet my needs when I thought I could not push forward! Participating in Semi-Private Personal Training was a great decision because I have met some really amazing people that push one another to the next level. At first, I was a little intimidated by Group Training but quickly found out every person in these classes not only pushes themselves, but each other.

All of the work I have done to this point and going forward will help me keep up with my 7 grand kids. Together, we completed the 10 mile VeloSano Bike to Cure ride, raising awareness and funding to support Cleveland Clinic’s efforts to cure cancer.
