SAUSAGE & POTATO GRILL PACKS

What’s great about this recipe? Throw everything together, seal in foil, throw on the grill and you’re done!

SAUSAGE & POTATO GRILL PACKS

Ingredients: Here’s What You Need

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, cleaned and trimmed

  • ½ pound red potatoes, quartered

  • 1 large onion, sliced

  • 1 pound smoked turkey or chicken sausage, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • ⅓ cup of water

  • salt and pepper, to taste

Recipe: Follow These Step:

  • Preheat your outdoor grill to high heat.

  • Place potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 3-4 minutes. Cook just long enough to slightly soften the potatoes. Allow cooling for several minutes.

  • From there, cut 4 sheets of aluminum foil approximately 8-10 inches long. Lightly spray each sheet with cooking spray. Divide the green beans, potatoes, onions, and sausage evenly among all 4 sheets of foil. Drizzle olive oil over each and season with salt, pepper, and any other desired spices or seasonings.

  • Cut another 4 sheets of foil to place on top of the other sheets. Tightly seal the top layer of foil around the ingredients. Leave a small opening in each pack and add 1-2 Tbsp. of water to each and then seal closed.

  • Place the prepared foil packet on your hot grill. Cook for 20-30 minutes, turning once until sausage is brown and green beans and potatoes are tender.
