Dressings, sauces and dips, oh, my! Everyone is always asking “Coach Amie – what salad dressing should I use? What kinds of sauces are good? Is there such thing as a healthy dip?

I will be the first to admit, sauces, dressings, dips – make food extra delightful and the good news?

Yes, there are ways to create healthier versions tasting just as good. Within minutes, you can make this stuff homemade from the comfort of your own kitchen so it’s fresher, contains less additives and no doubt will taste all the better.

Today’s recipes let you choose based on what you like best! Check out each of the three dressing recipes below and use as your favorite dressing, sauce or dip!

HAVE IT YOUR WAY: THREE RECIPES FOR DRESSINGS, SAUCES OR DIPS!

#1. Hummus and Pickle Juice

  • 2 tablespoons hummus

  • 1-2 tablespoons pickle juice

Combine. Add more pickle juice until desired consistency.

#2. Greek Yogurt and Salsa

  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt

  • ¼ cup of your favorite salsa

Combine and add more salsa if desired.

#3. Almond Butter Balsamic Vinaigrette

  • 3 tablespoons creamy almond butter

  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

  • 3 tablespoons water

Whisk together and add more water until desired consistency.
