OATMEAL BERRY CRISP
Ingredients: Here’s What You Need
Berry Filling:
4 cups of mixed berries, fresh or frozen
1 teaspoon vanilla
¼ cup honey
1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
pinch of salt
Oatmeal Topping:
1 ¼ cup rolled oats
¼ cup flour
¼ cup chopped almonds or walnuts (optional)
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup honey
4 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
Recipe: Follow These Steps:
Preheat oven to 350. Place the berry filling ingredients into a 9×9 baking dish and toss to combine well.
In a medium mixing bowl, add oats, flour, nuts (if using), cinnamon, and salt. Mix well to combine.
From there, begin to drizzle in the honey and melted coconut oil to the oatmeal topping. Stir well to combine.
Cover the berry filling in the baking dish with the oatmeal topping, spreading evenly over the top
Bake for 45-60 minutes or until the top begins to brown and the berries are bubbling.
