Italian-Style Porkchops

It’s Coach Amie back with Forking Made Easy: a collection of easy-to-follow recipes to make eating healthy taste good. This week’s menu features Italian Style Pork Chops. Full recipe is posted below:

(makes 4 servings)

  • 4 boneless center-cut pork chops

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 small yellow onion, diced

  • 1 bell pepper, diced

  • 1 cup spicy marinara sauce

  1. In a large oiled skillet, cook pork chops until browned, about 2-3 minutes each side. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Once browned, transfer to a plate and set aside.

  2. To the skillet, add garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Cook until onion and pepper begins to soften. Add the marinara sauce and pork chops to the skillet. Reduce heat and simmer until pork chops are cooked through.

  3. Enjoy!
