If you’re reading this love note, you are either hunched over your computer, hunched over your tiny phone screen or hunched over your kids who are hunched over their school desks. Either way, you are hunching and your posture is paying for it – hear me out:
The effects of being more sedentary over the last few weeks are starting to catch up. For most of us, sitting at a desk is normal but now, is compounded 10 fold since being relocated to our “home offices”.
This is ’cause we’re moving less -meetings are now being hosted remotely, and we don’t have to go very far for lunch. Less moving = more opportunity for our bodies / muscles / joints to stiffen + tighten up. This results is super unpleasant things that impact our focus and ability to perform our best. Things like:
-
Cranky or stiff neck
-
Tight shoulders
-
Headaches
-
Fatigue
-
Back pain
-
Tight hips
…..all symptomatic of sitting at your desk, hunched over a keyboard gazing at a bright ass computer screen all day.
OUCH! How can you get some immediate relief? Great question, so glad you asked!
