Gina’s Story of Rise Up Glory!

What was your biggest fear before signing up for Rise Up?

My biggest fear before starting Rise Up was not achieving my goal in 6 weeks.

What made you decide to overcome those fears and RISE UP!?

I realized that it was “OK” if I didn’t, as long as I made the necessary changes to feel better. Rise Up is about changing habits for the better that you can use the rest of your life.

Before Rise Up, what was getting in your way of reaching your goal?

Before Rise Up, I was doing a lot of mindless eating which added to a lot of extra calories I didn’t need.

Alcohol was also a weekly thing: a glass of wine while cooking dinner or after a long day at work became routine (more calories I didn’t need).

 How did Rise Up / Results Fitness help you overcome this to succeed?

Part of Rise Up is creating daily action steps so you know what habits support your goal and know exactly what to do.  For me, setting these steps in the beginning ensure I was on the right path to achieve my goal.

Also, having my personal Rise Up coach there to support me and keep me on track along the way provided the extra layer of accountability.

How did Rise Up / Results Fitness help you overcome each struggle to succeed?

Now that Rise Up is over, I continue to follow my action steps 85-90% of the time. I am making consistently good decisions for my body, and I am very empowered by that!

Before Rise Up, I snacked or grazed a lot, skipped meals and ate second helpings just because it was there.  Now, I know how to fuel my body and give it what it needs, when it needs it.

As the saying goes, I eat to live, not live to eat.

How is your life different now that you’ve completed Rise Up?

Rise Up set me up for success. I don’t miss the all day grazing or the alcohol and feel so much better because of these changes I’ve made!

If I feel an old habit trying to creep in, I know how to squash it!

In 6 weeks, I lost 8 pounds, 3% body fat and 1.5 inches off my waist. Most importantly, I feel great!

How is Rise Up different from other programs (exercise/diet/nutrition based) you’ve tried in the past?

Rise Up is different than any other program I’ve ever tried because it’s not a fad –it’s a lifestyle. The coaches are there for all of your needs and the Rise Up Facebook page and community is supportive and inspiring and makes you want to do your best.

 What would you say to someone struggling with their health, fitness and nutrition who is looking for help but unsure what to do or where to start? 

I would recommend to anyone who struggles with nutrition to try Results Fitness and Rise Up.

This program has done all the work for you to help you succeed and get you started on your fitness journey. Making that commitment is the hardest part but you’ll thank yourself for it.
