Pickled Red Onions

(Quick) Pickled Red Onions

  • 1 large red onion, very thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons fine sea salt
  1. Thinly slice onions and pack them into a 1-pint mason jar.
  2. Pour the remaining ingredients over the sliced onions. Seal the mason jar and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  3. Place the sealed jar in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2-3 hours to allow the flavors to marinate and the onions to soften.
  4. These make a great topping for salads, sandwiches, and wraps!
  5. Enjoy!
