No-Bake Raw Brownies

(makes 12 servings)

  • 2 cups Medjool dates, pitted and soaked in warm water for 10-15 minutes

  • 1 cup raw almonds or raw walnuts

  • 3 tablespoons dark cocoa powder

  1. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.

  2. Pulse nuts in a food processor until roughly chopped. Add dates and cocoa powder. Pulse until thick and slightly sticky.

  3. Place mixture into pan and spread evenly. Freeze for 1 hour and then cut into 12 squares.
