Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken
-
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
-
3 tablespoons olive oil
-
2 tablespoons honey
-
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon ancho chile powder
-
1 teaspoon sea salt
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
-
In a small mixing bowl, combine olive oil, honey, garlic, ancho chile powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
-
Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of a large slow cooker. Pour the honey garlic sauce over top and spread until the chicken is well coated. Set the slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours (or until chicken is cooked through).
-
Flip the chicken halfway through cooking and stir to coat with the marinade.
-
Once cooked through, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and serve alongside your favorite veggie(s). Enjoy!
