Electrolyte drinks: Omg what are those? Why do I need them?

When you think electrolyte drink, Gatorade probably comes to mind. This homemade version is a much better alternative with minimal ingredients and way less additives + sugars. Think of this recipe as the perfect way for you or your kids to hydrate and replenish after exercising, playing sports or when dehydrated from the flu or too many adult beverages!

HOMEMADE ELECTROLYTE DRINK

  • 16 ounces filtered water or, coconut water

  • 4 ounces fresh citrus juice

  • 2 teaspoons honey

  • ⅛-¼ teaspoon sea salt

Combine and mix well. Can also use ½ water and ½ coconut water.
