Erin’s Story of Rise Up Glory!

What was your biggest fear before signing up for Rise Up?

My biggest fear was that I wouldn’t have the same success doing Rise Up that I had with the past 2 programs.  Rise Up is a program I have done/continue doing multiple times throughout the year because it continues to motivate me, I continue to learn, adapt better habits, reset, and refocus.

What made you decide to overcome those fears and RISE UP…..again!?

I knew and wanted to continue working towards my overall goal without delaying if further. Rise Up is a great reset for me to get back to consistent behaviors that will push me closer to my overall goal.

Before Rise Up, what was getting in the way of reaching your goal?

Overall, it was consistency with meal prep and what I was eating.  During Rise Up, I plan and prep meals each week but as time goes by after Rise Up, I found myself less consistent.

The other big thing was not being consistent with tracking food.  This was leading me to boredom eating, taking more bites, licks and tastes throughout the day than accounting for and snacking/ eating stuff I don’t even like or would normally choose if really thinking about it.

The extra snacks / grazing and ‘bites, licks and tastes’ all add up and quickly if you’re not careful!

How did Rise Up / Results Fitness help you overcome this to succeed?

Rise Up and all the daily accountability that comes with the program puts me in the right mindset! For me, Rise Up is the perfect way to reset and reprioritize habits and behaviors that have led to such great success and results in the past. It’s the little things you do each day that have the biggest impact, and it was knowing what I needed to add back to my lifestyle that hit my goals.

How is your life different now that you’ve completed Rise Up?

Besides being noticeably leaner and losing body fat and inches, I feel better in my skin!

I have more confidence, like how I look in the mirror and am on my way to hitting my first major goal! Even better – it doesn’t feel hard or impossible.

When exercising, I’ve been able to focus more on form and in doing so, movements have become less challenging, my strength is increasing, and my form is improving in multiple movements!

When it comes to eating, I like how I feel when eating real foods and having control over the boredom-snacking and eating.

Before Rise Up, this felt so mindful, like I was constantly thinking about what to eat and plan and prep and what my next meal would be. Plus, if I wanted to have something not on plan, how would I adjust somewhere else? It felt almost obsessive to have to think about it all the time.

Now, it doesn’t feel so overwhelming and all-consuming since completing Rise Up – it’s become second nature.

In 6 weeks, I proved to myself I am worth the time and effort to put into my own goals!

How is Rise Up different from other programs (exercise/diet/nutrition based) you’ve tried in the past?

Rise Up gives you a step by step guide to follow so you always know what to do! Most importantly, the habits you build and the tools you learn are not quick fixes – you can actually sustain these things well after the 6-weeks.

What other programs always lack is accountability – something we call need to stay on track and hit our goals. With Rise Up, you work with your own coach plus have the support of the other coaches and people in the program to support you, troubleshoot any challenge and celebrate the wins, big and small!

NO other program has this level of constant community support.  You’re truly never alone –everyone has their struggles–and together, you all lean on and cheer each other on!

Think about someone out there who is like you before you did Rise Up

I would tell them they are worth the time and effort it takes to complete the 6 weeks and if they are consistent and follow the steps, they will see successes, build better habits and walk away with tools to get them closer to whatever their own personal goal looks like!  And they don’t have to do it alone!!
