Before joining Results Fitness, I had lost 30 pounds through a diet program. After years I was able to hit my goal but almost immediately started to regain the weight after growing frustrated with counting calories and measuring my food.
I never managed to make a lifestyle change that would allow me to live a full, happy, healthy life. Exercise was just getting on a treadmill and running as long as I could, I hated every second in the gym.
I never felt healthy and strong even at my lowest weight. After I gained the weight back, I was having daily lower back and knee pain. I couldn’t get out of bed without shooting pain in my back. I couldn’t even stand for long period of time or get down on the ground to play with my children.
I never went to the doctor or tried to manage my pain because I had given up on myself. Regaining the weight had made me feel like a failure, and I truly believed that it wasn’t possible for me to be healthy and feel better. So I lived in pain for over a year.
I met some great people who were super fit and healthy and belonged to Results Fitness. I tried the Results Fitness 30-Day Kickstart, and I went to the first workout thinking there was no way I could lift weights when I was in pain just standing and walking. But I trusted the coaches Josh and Matt, and I made it through my first month with no injuries and was already feeling stronger.
I was on track losing weight and gaining muscles I never knew I had but I also was starting to plateau when the Rise Up was offered. This program really put everything together for me; helping me focus on fitness goals, being consistent in my workouts, receiving extra support from the Results Fitness family, and most importantly learning how to eat healthy without the stress of measuring and tracking every calorie…FREEDOM.
I told myself it would take me the total duration of Rise Up to learn new, healthy eating habits and end old habits. I gave myself 8 weeks to hit the restart button. The seminars helped me stay motivated, set realistic goals, and gave that extra support to motivate me to stick with it.

And most importantly, I give my daughter a piggyback ride to bed every night and can get down on the floor and play all the time. I have no lower back pain or knee pain and I finally feel healthy, strong and fit. I will never give up on myself again and I deeply appreciate Josh, Matt and the Results family who make sure I don’t give up on myself either!
