- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup whole-wheat breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 small clove garlic, minced (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)
- In a large bowl, gently mix ground turkey, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, Dijon, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until just combined (don’t overmix).Divide into 4 equal patties.
- Press a small indent in the center of each to help them cook evenly.
- Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat and lightly coat with oil spray.
- Cook burgers 5–6 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.While burgers cook, whisk together Greek yogurt, lemon juice, Dijon, Worcestershire, and garlic until smooth.
- Serve burgers in romaine leaves or on whole-grain buns. Spoon yogurt sauce on top and add any optional toppings.
