MOROCCAN CHICKEN

Ingredients: Here’s What You Need

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon cumin

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 15 ounce can of diced tomatoes

  • 1 can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs, diced

Recipe: Follow These Steps:

  • In a large skillet heat olive oil.

  • Brown chicken for 4-5 minutes. Add onions and sauté for an additional 5 minutes.

  • Add spices and tomatoes. Bring to a low boil. 

  • Once boiling, add garbanzo beans and mix well to coat. 

  • Reduce to a simmer and cover skillet. Cook for another 15 minutes or so until the chicken is cooked through.
