Dark Chocolate Cherry Energy Bites

(makes 12 bites)

  • 1 cup raw almonds

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup dried cherries

  • 2 cups dates, pitted

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt

  1. Add almonds to a food processor and pulse until chopped.

  2. Next, add dried cherries, dark chocolate chips, dates, cinnamon, and sea salt and pulse until well combined. The texture should allow the mixture to be formed into balls.

  3. Roll into 12 1-inch balls and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before eating.

  4. Energy bites can be stored in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
