Beef Shawarma Wraps
(makes 6-8 servings)
Shawarma

1 pound beef top sirloin, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon shawarma seasoning

1 teaspoon ground allspice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon olive oil

6-8 whole-grain tortillas

2 tomatoes, halved and sliced

1 onion, thinly sliced
Creamy Tahini Sauce

1/2 cup tahini
-
3 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
-
juice of 1/2 lemon, freshly-squeezed

1/2 teaspoon salt

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add beef, shawarma seasoning, allspice, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Cook beef, turning occasionally, until beef is browned and tender (3-5 minutes).

In a small mixing bowl, whisk tahini, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and salt. Mix until creamy.

Spread 1-2 tablespoons of tahini sauce in the middle of each tortilla. Divide beef evenly among tortillas and place on top of tahini sauce.

Top each tortilla with tomatoes and onion slices. Roll up each tortilla and enjoy!
