Air Fryer Cod

(makes 2 servings)
  • 2 cod fillets (4–6 oz each), thawed and patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 lemon, for squeezing after cooking
  • Optional: pinch of chili flakes or Italian herbs
  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F
  2. In a small bowl, mix oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush or rub seasoning mixture all over both sides of the cod fillets.
  4. Place cod in the air fryer basket (use parchment or a light spray if needed to prevent sticking).
  5. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until the cod is golden and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Squeeze lemon juice over the top and serve warm.
Serving Ideas:
  • With steamed or roasted veggies and quinoa or cauliflower rice
  • In tacos with slaw and avocado
  • Flaked over a salad bowl with citrus vinaigrette
