Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

It’s Coach Amie back with Forking Made Easy: a collection of easy-to-follow recipes to make eating healthy taste good. This week’s menu features Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken. Full recipe is posted below:

Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon ancho chile powder

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine olive oil, honey, garlic, ancho chile powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of a large slow cooker. Pour the honey garlic sauce over top and spread until the chicken is well coated. Set the slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours (or until chicken is cooked through).

  3. Flip the chicken halfway through cooking and stir to coat with the marinade.

  4. Once cooked through, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and serve alongside your favorite veggie(s). Enjoy!
