Tofu! Ever tried it? Cooked with it? The unique thing about tofu is its ability to take on the flavor of whatever it’s being marinated and cooked with.
And Tahini – possibly the best kept secret for super amazing dressings for just about anything!
Together, this recipe is a flavor punch and makes for a great build your own bowl type of meal. And, if you have never tried tofu, mix things up and give this a go!
This dressing is also good on veggies, salads, chicken, potatoes -tons of possibilities.

ROASTED TOFU + LEMON TAHINI DRESSING
Tofu Ingredients: Here’s What You Need

1- 14 ounce block extra-firm tofu, dried and cut into 1-inch cubes

1 teaspoon sesame oil

3 Tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

2 Tablespoons rice vinegar
-
1 Tablespoon maple syrup
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
½ Tablespoon fresh grated ginger
Recipe: Follow These Steps

In a bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, garlic and, ginger. Place tofu in a large bowl and pour marinade over tofu. Allow to marinate 15-20 minutes.

Preheat oven to 400. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place marinated tofu in a single layer on baking sheet. Bake 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through.

Allow to cool
Lemon Tahini Dressing Ingredients: Here’s What You Need

¼ cup Tahini
-
2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
-
1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 Tablespoon maple syrup
-
salt and pepper, to taste
¼ cup water, to thin dressing as needed
Recipe: Follow These Steps

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk all ingredients together well.

The above recipes can be used to create a bowl or salad. Simply use a leafy green or grain as a base and add desired ingredients.

Top with roasted tofu and Tahini dressing.
