(makes 2 servings)
- 2 cod fillets (4–6 oz each), thawed and patted dry
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 lemon, for squeezing after cooking
- Optional: pinch of chili flakes or Italian herbs
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F
- In a small bowl, mix oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush or rub seasoning mixture all over both sides of the cod fillets.
- Place cod in the air fryer basket (use parchment or a light spray if needed to prevent sticking).
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until the cod is golden and flakes easily with a fork.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the top and serve warm.
