Warrior Stories: MC & Nutrition Coaching

For years, MC knew exactly what to do.

The problem wasn’t knowledge.

It was staying consistent once life got busy.

After completing Rise Up nine different times, she noticed the same frustrating pattern.

“I’d finish the program, lose weight and body fat, then slowly slip back into my old eating habits. Before long, I’d regain what I’d lost and have to work just as hard all over again.”

The cycle was exhausting.

“I’m an emotional eater. Between a stressful job and everyday life, I’d grab whatever was easiest—granola bars, French fries, anything within reach—without really thinking about it.”

Eventually, she reached her breaking point.

“I finally threw in the towel and said to myself, ‘Let’s get my shit together.'”

She had heard Warriors rave about Coach Amie’s nutrition coaching for years.

Finally, she decided to stop wondering if it would help and simply give it a chance.

“I figured…why shouldn’t I at least try?”

What she discovered was completely different from what she expected.

Nutrition coaching wasn’t about following another meal plan.

It was about building a lifestyle she could actually maintain.

Instead of trying to overhaul everything overnight, Coach Amie helped MC create simple strategies that fit her demanding work schedule.

“Now I do a little meal prep every day and pack small, nutritious snacks that keep me fueled during long shifts.”

Those small changes transformed much more than what she ate.

Physically, she stopped crashing halfway through the day.

Mentally, she stopped overthinking every food choice.

Emotionally, she finally began repairing her relationship with food.

“Food has always been something I’ve struggled with. Now I remind myself that the better I fuel my body, the better I feel—physically and emotionally.”

The results were remarkable.

“In 12 weeks, I lost over 16 pounds of body fat. Holy shit!” she laughs. “And I feel really freaking good about myself.”

But the biggest victory wasn’t the number.

It was finally trusting herself around food.

“Before, I’d eat everything in sight whether I was hungry or not. Now I actually listen to my body. When I’m hungry, I eat. When I’m full, I stop.”

For MC, that’s what makes nutrition coaching different.

“Coach Amie never tried to force me into one approach. If something wasn’t working, we’d change it. My work schedule is constantly changing, and she adapted the plan right alongside me.”

Just as importantly, she never felt judged.

“I was terrified to tell Coach Amie about my eating habits, but she met me with support instead of criticism. Having someone who understood what I was going through made all the difference.”

Today, MC still enjoys the foods she loves—including ice cream.

The difference is that she no longer feels guilty about it.

“One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that I can eat vegetables and ice cream and still maintain my weight, build muscle, and feel great. I don’t have to beat myself up anymore.”

Looking back, MC says nutrition coaching gave her far more than better eating habits.

It helped her break a cycle she’d been stuck in for years.

“Every time I challenge myself and get uncomfortable, I surprise myself. This program didn’t just help me lose body fat—it helped me get my sunshiney confidence back.”
