Warrior Stories: Meet MC

MC will be the first to tell you: utrition has always been her biggest challenge.

“I LOVE food,” she laughs. “Scaling back portions and eating vegetables doesn’t exactly bring me joy.”

For years, she battled the same questions so many people ask themselves before making a change.

Can I really stay consistent for six weeks? What if I mess up? What if I’m not perfect?

Even after completing Rise Up nine different times, those thoughts still crept in.

This time, though, there was one very clear sign it was time to reset.

“My pants didn’t fit. My leggings were digging into my belly, and I refused to buy bigger ones. I also didn’t like what I saw in the mirror. Having done Rise Up so many times, I know when I look and feel my best—and I knew it was time.”

Like many busy professionals, MC’s biggest obstacle wasn’t motivation.

It was convenience.

Long workdays meant grabbing fried food, sugary “protein” bars, or whatever was easiest while she was on the go.

Rise Up didn’t ask her to be perfect.

It taught her how to make better choices consistently.

“The program helped me focus on eating throughout the day and making better choices with the food I was eating, even when life was busy.”

But the biggest transformation wasn’t physical.

It was mental.

“As a perfectionist, I always thought if I wasn’t perfect, I had failed. Rise Up helped me realize that even when every day wasn’t perfect, I was still making progress. And that’s what matters most.”

That mindset shift changed everything.

Today, MC has more energy than she can remember.

“I fit in my pants again! I can get up early instead of sleeping until noon, I don’t need my afternoon naps anymore, and I have energy all day.”

What keeps her coming back to Rise Up isn’t just the results.

It’s that every program teaches her something new.

“One Rise Up helped me completely change my mindset about nutrition. Another taught me I was strong enough to do 10 push-ups in a row. Every single time, I learn something different about myself.”

For MC, that’s what makes Rise Up different.

“I grew up believing being healthy meant eating as little as possible. Rise Up completely changed the way I think about nutrition. Now I understand body composition, healthy habits, and what my body actually needs to be strong for life.”

When someone tells her they’re nervous about joining Rise Up, she smiles.

“I had no idea what I was doing when I started. I leaned on my Warrior friends and trusted my coach. Just take it one step at a time, sometimes even one hour or one meal at a time. You’ll have an entire community supporting you every step of the way!”

Perhaps the biggest lesson MC has learned after nine Rise Ups isn’t about nutrition at all.

It’s about herself.

“Loving myself physically and mentally has been a lifelong battle. Rise Up has given me more than healthy habits. It’s given me confidence, lifelong friendships, and most importantly, a whole new appreciation for myself.”
