Can you believe it has been a year since I have joined the Results Fitness team?!?! CRAZINESS! Time sure flew by fast! As most of you know, I moved to Ohio to start my career at RF and study at UA. Moving to Ohio was a great choice and I’m glad the transition was smooth, but I am still a University of Michigan fan. GO BLUE!
I would like to thank Josh Mekota for giving me this opportunity and providing me a place to call home! Although it took me awhile to learn everyones name, I have enjoyed getting to know the RF staff and members on a personal level. Joining a performance focused facility with a passion for health and fitness has been very beneficial and has added many qualities to my career.
Our members have the same energy for health and fitness, allowing Josh and myself to promote a positive lifestyle and atmosphere for each member. Josh has over fifteen years in the field, he has been a positive mentor in my career. His experiences expanded my senses in client consultation, administration of fitness assessments, fitness testing, exercise techniques, program design and training special populations clients. Enhancing my outreach on qualitative biomechanics and effective movement patterns has positively influenced my coaching abilities and my overall image within the fitness industry. These characteristics have evolved my knowledge of fitness services and allowed me to reach new opportunities.
Education is a huge priority for myself and coaching style. I aim to develop our members understanding of a heathy lifestyle, while they meet their individualized goals. It is a special feeling when I can share my knowledge with our members and community. I am excited to announce that within the upcoming months I have big plans, I will be applying to a doctorates degree for human and sports performance! Excited for my future to come!
Throughout my years coaching, I have taken a special interest in corrective exercise, mobility, recovery and regeneration methodologies. The pillar of injury prevention has allowed me to reach out to members and the community to vocalize my passion. It is a great feeling prescribing members effective exercise modalities to release fixed muscles and strengthen inhibited muscles. The services that we provide from athletic performance, semi-private, one-on-one, group training and nutritional counseling are designed to be the best in the industry. These programs are specialized
and individualized for members to reach their goals while challenging them through their sessions. My expertise within athletic performance has outstanding evaluation of olympic lifts and I’m always looking for motivated members that want to expand their exercise selection.
I cannot end this blog without saying how great its been working at RF and look forward to another year! Time for RF to lead the way in the fitness industry! Here at RF we can’t wait to expand our clientele base, community outreach, services and most importantlyevolve into master coaches!
