As you may have noticed, we have a new face walking around Results Fitness. We wanted to take this time to introduce Dane Bartz, the newest addition to the RF family! What better way to introduce him than through his own words.
Without further ado.. here is our interview with Dane:
Where are you from?
I grew up in the small town of Romeo, Michigan. I was raised with a big family (five brothers & two sisters). I loved growing up with a big family, there is always someone to talk to! My parents have many animals from dogs roaming the yard, cats catching mice, birds chirping in their cage, & two fish swimming in the ponds.
What made you get into this industry?
I participated in regular exercise & recreational activities throughout high-school. When I graduated from high school, I knew I wanted to aim towards a career in sports medicine because anything within human movement drew my attention. I studied exercise science at Oakland University in Rochester, MI. My career goal is to obtain knowledge so I can design programs not just for myself, but for others that are in a quest to enhance their performance, change their lifestyles, become stronger, lose weight, and to teach proper ways to exercise.
What’s your favorite exercise?
Anything with a barbell!
Least favorite exercise?
Truthfully don’t have any.
Hobbies outside of coaching?
I like to spend time with my family, friends, travel, and research/read books on sports medicine.
What type of music do you listen to when you exercise?
I like music that has a beat without lyrics. Gets me focused & motivated to get the job done!
Get my Masters in Athletic Training and Doctorate in Athletic Training. Become a Director of Strength & Conditioning/Sports Medicine for a collegiate/professional program. Be a mentor & resource for everyone!
